An experiment with layers led to the creation of Sunny Disposition which features a beautiful, bald Black woman painted with acrylic. You will find her on a gold-painted, raised, circular background on top of a cotton candy cloud filled sky. Playing with texture, yarn was used to create her jewelry while her pink face markings compliment the clouds behind her.

The piece was created on a sheet of cardboard mounted on 1-inch canvas stretchers with their edges raw and exposed and sealed with resin.
