An experiment with combining cardboard sheets to make a larger piece, Fire & Ice features a stylish Black couple in red and blue painted with acrylic on a light pink textured background. Plenty of texture was added to the piece with thousands of beads filling their long hair and shades made with colored light gels and gold paint.

The piece was created on a sheet of cardboard mounted on 1-inch canvas stretchers with their edges raw, but painted pink and exposed and sealed with resin.
