Inspired by a self portrait series that I did in 2020, Envy the Dragon features an elderly Black woman painted with acrylic on a bold green background. She is adorned with a dragonfruit slice necklace, matching earrings, and mirrored glasses.
The piece was created on a 24 x 30 in canvas and sealed with gloss varnish.
